Thanks for joining Sustainable Shawnee at City Commission Candidates Forum. I think we had a helpful discussion on a number "quality of life" issues including sidewalks, trails, bike lanes, water quality and recycling. Remember the election is in June so get out and VOTE!
Sustainable Shawnee plans to host another forum for the House and Senate candidates later this summer so keep an eye out for the date!

All those interested in planting and caring for the garden are welcome to attend. Amanda McCart, our new garden supervisor, will conduct the meeting and help us plan out our activities for the summer. We meet on the 2nd Thursday bi-monthly from 7-8 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Broadway & Highland.
During months where business meetings are not held, we have more informal "Green Chats" to discuss interesting topics of the day. Locations to be announced.
