POSTPONED! Monday, May 20th City Council Meeting on Curbside Recycling in Shawnee City Hall - Downtown 6:30pm
The city of Shawnee is considering a curbside recycling program for our community and is seeking input from citizens. If you want curbside recycling in Shawnee, this is your one and only time to say so. Come to the meeting in overwhelming numbers to make your collective voices heard!
Tuesday, May 28th Get to Know the Garden Meeting for Summer Caretakers 6:30 pm Shawnee Community Garden - Wall and Park Streets (2 blks. North of Independence)
Prof. Timothy McCollum will lead a short demonstration of the water system and give other information on how to care for the garden this summer. We will be signing teams up for each week in June, July and August so please don't miss this meeting. Email us at sustainableshawnee@gmail.com if you can't be present with your week preferences.

We meet on the 2nd Thursday bi-monthly from 7-8 p.m. at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Broadway & Highland.
During months where business meetings are not held, we have more informal "Green Chats" to discuss interesting topics of the day. Locations to be announced.
